Good place, very trendy. They specialize in cold foam matcha/vietnamese coffee, tho they have latte options as well. Is it the most amazing matcha or Vietnamese coffee I’ve ever had? No, but worth a try. If you’re an avid coffee drinker, probably not the place for you. Got the Ube matcha (8.25): ube was dense, had a good saltiness to it… but you can’t taste the matcha once it blends in. Matcha gets overpowered! Earl grey matcha was delicious! Pistachio Vietnamese coffee was tasty: Vietnamese coffee more on the bitter side but not totally burnt Salted foam latte had a delicious foam. TERRIBLE parking lot and you can only order on the kiosk.. which makes you wait in a fat line outside which for no reason. Space is small but cute! Super busy on a Monday

We went to Labora on a Sunday around 3 pm. There was a line out the door. Fortunately we ordered our drinks online, and they were ready when we arrived. Blueberry Matcha - the blueberry foam was weird to me. It tasted like blueberries but there was something strangely floral about it. Ube Viet Coffee - I like Vietnamese coffee but this was actually a little too bitter for me. Pandan Matcha - this drink was the star of the show. The pandan coconut milk was outstanding and the matcha was great. When mixed together, you could still taste both pandan and matcha really well. I will be coming back for the pandan matcha and definitely recommend ordering drinks online. Very limited parking. We had to park on the street.

Very 'Instagrammable' coffee shop, but not for someone looking for a HOT coffee! (No, this wasn't obvious to us before we went there!) LOCATED IN A STRIP MALL WITH PARKING Labora is located in a somewhat run down/partially empty strip mall with limited parking. (We parked on the street). ORDER ON THE APP OR TABLET AT THE ENTRANCE You order on the app or the tablet at the entrance. If you like person-to-person interaction with the barista, this place may not be your jam. INDOOR SEATING AVAILABLE There are several tables and chairs available, plants dotted around and a one-person restroom in the back. A lot of people are milling around, standing, waiting in line to order and then waiting FOR their order, which creates a sense of chaos and takes away from the 'zen' atmosphere. One person was hogging a 6-person booth with their laptop/phone obligations. THE DRINKS ARE A WORK OF ART The wait for our drinks was a good 15 minutes. (The fact they were busy is a GOOD sign!) We each enjoyed a "Pistachio 54". It was pretty, but most of the creamy flavorness was at the bottom and we didn't know it would be cold. Got the vienna matcha and pistachio 54 matcha. Great flavor, fast service, and ample seating. Probably one of the best, if not the best, matcha in SD I've had so far. Similar to matcha I've had when I visit Japan. I'm excited to try their Vietnamese coffee next time! Parking lot is pretty small, so be advised.

The matcha drinks are sooo good and the fruit cold foam taste like real natural fruit not fake. The service was amazing and I can’t wait to come back. Also they brought the drinks out so fast!!
